Horizons - One Month Later Review

EGCore has written up a review of Horizons: Empire of Istaria, giving the MMORPG a favorable overview now that it has been available for over a month. Their conclusion:
Overall the game has captured my attention. I am comfortable in it and find it's not that difficult of a learning curve to understand (especially if you're a MMO gamer). Though the Customer Service in and outside of the game has been rumored to be fairly lacking, the overall game experience is good if you consider how recently this game was released. I do wonder, however, if I am able to get 30 levels in a few weeks with only an above average casual play time used (about 2-3 hours a day, 5 days a week) and have seen players as high as level 79 with limited Monsters to slay at levels such as 70+ currently, will this game hold power gamers attention? There is some promise by Artifact Entertainment to monitor player levels and add content to the game to hold player interest. This extends to more elaborate quests and events for players as well, which was mentioned in a Developers chat on January 12th hosted by Horizon's Vault. I do hope content will be added to enrich the player experience in the long run, but for now I'm satisfied with the first month of my experience in Horizons.
