It's always hard to break a game down into its component parts. Judge the graphics while ignoring the audio. Audio without the graphics. Gameplay without either of them. KOTOR does well in every category and, as the old saying goes, the sum is worth more than the whole of its parts. This game is truly a masterpiece to behold, a videogame work of art. It succeeds in smoothly adding itself to the Star Wars universe, breaks new ground in terms of what a Star Wars game is 'allowed' to be, and is enjoyable the whole way through.
