Middle-Earth Dev Diary

Turbine's official Middle-Earth Online website has been updated with a new dev diary from Griffon, Game Systems Designer, in which he explains the philosophy of ethics. A snippet to follow:
To start off, let's imagine the case of the hero Garahad and his friend Dhardram, who at the moment are questing for the return of a powerful talisman in order to save their fair city and by extension the world at large. Garahad and Dhardram have ventured deep into the warrens of an ancient and abandoned dwarven mine in order to recover the artifact, fending off wave after wave of goblins and other foul creatures as they do so. At last, they break into the hidden chamber that contains the talisman. Once there, however, Garahad and Dhardram discover that they are not unique in their task, and that a band of dwarven treasure hunters has beat them to their goal. However, the dwarves are wounded and exhausted from their fighting. They cannot fight their way out of the mine through the many foes that bar the way.
