Horizons Launches in Europe on December 5th

HORIZONS: EMPIRE OF ISTARIA TO LAUNCH IN EUROPE ON THE 5TH OF DECEMBER 2003

MILAN, 4 December 2003 Game Network and Artifact Entertainment are proud to announce that Horizons: Empire of Istaria, a MMORPG to be published by Atari in December 2003, will launch on the 5th of December. The servers hosted in Frankfurt, Germany will be available for the first players starting from midnight on Friday the 5th of December.

Gamers will have to purchase a monthly subscription after the 30 days of free trial included in the retail box. Our subscription fee is on monthly basis, but we allow longer subscription time with discounted price.

Horizons: Empire of Istaria takes place in the world of Istaria, with huge environments which include cities, towns, castles, strongholds, villages and mystical structures. The environments range from tropical jungles and arctic tundra to windswept plains and mountainous wilderness.

Horizons: Empire of Istaria gives players the true freedom to explore these environments working as part of a team or playing alone to create their own story. Gamers can choose from nine playable races which include Humans, Dwarves, Elves, and for the first time in an online multiplayer adventure, they can play as the mighty Dragon!

Game Network is taking a key role in the launch and maintenance of this exciting title. The company will be producing regular television programming for the game as well providing Customer Support (in at least four languages) and in-game event management.
