inXile Entertainment hasn't announced a release date yet, and all the assets we have so far consist of some screenshots and such scattered throughout the 'Net. But so far, it's looking fairly impressive. We'll be sure to keep you up-to-date with new developments and shots in the coming months. Meanwhile, there's other RPGs for your role-playing jones, with Temple of Elemental Evil and its vaunted Greyhawk D&D module dating back even further than Bard's Tale. Hopefully this will trigger a resurgence in "classic games reborn," with the average age of the PC gamer being around 30 years old these days. Yes, we do remember what it was like to have to imagine what combat looked like! But we're glad that Fargo and Co. are taking Bard's Tale into the new millennium.
