The big clutch thing is the idea of fighting for a purpose. For the first time in a while, I was on a dungeon crawl and I knew why. My character had a reason to be there, save loot and levels. It was refreshing. They are simple fiction, but it is that simple fiction that is lacking from other dungeons.
Overall, Lost Dungeons of Norrath is a nice step forward for the EQ series and should be a must buy for hardcore fans. It may even lure back a few who have dropped out.
