Pirates of the Caribbean First Impressions

Evil Avatar gives us their first impressions of Akella and Bethesda's Pirates of the Caribbean. The conclusion to follow:
When I write up a full review, I will go over things in detail, and if I ever became comfortable with the controls. There have been times when I have had flashes of Sea Dogs and the fun that I had with the original game. There is a lot to explore and a lot to do and I am just starting to get into the game. It is a labor of love to play this game right now but becoming less labor and more love. (I have been playing over ten hours, but I cannot tell you how many times I had to restart the game. Because of that, I am probably only an hour or two into the storyline.) I am liking what I see, and the possibilites of the game are great. Some of the issues I had were the same as I had with Sea Dogs. Once I got past them, Sea Dogs was great. I expect I will say that about Pirates of the Carribbean too.
