Middle-Earth Online Impressions

John Callaham of HomeLan Fed reports his impressions of Middle-Earth Online from the developer's E3 demo. Here's a snip from JCal's report:
The first part of the demo that we were shown took place in the hobbit’s land of the Shire and its clear that Middle Earth Online will not suffer in the graphics department. The already impressive graphics that Turbine has developed for Asheron’s Call 2 have already been tweaked for this game with more detailed character models and level textures. The hobbits will be portrayed as in the books as people who enjoy life and enjoy partying and yes, fireworks will be seen in the game. We were told that people who play hobbits as adventures in the game will be looked upon as being sort of strange by the “normal hobbits”.
