In my opinion placing the focus of the gameplay on co-operation and teamwork was a step in the right direction. Although technically Dungeons & Dragons: Heroes would not be classified in the party game genre, titles such as this will provide twice the fun of a Fuzion Frenzy or Shrek Super Party. Without doubt the best gaming experience to be had will come when you have 2 or 3 friends fighting alongside you. Infogrames is attempting to create the best multiplayer gaming possible by negating as much frustration as possible. Things such as friendly fire will be turned off, and one responsible player will handle camera control. The potential is definitely evident, and we will all get a chance to embark on a quest of our own when Dungeons & Dragons: Heroes launches this summer.
