So, is Neverwinter Nights the awe-inspiring online experience promised? Nearly. And only if you're willing to put in the effort yourself. The lazy gamer isn't going to get the most out of the game online, as they wouldn't if they were role-playing offline. Seeking out like-minded gamers is essential, as is the mindset itself to lose any sense of embarrassment and genuinely role-play your way through a game. With these conditions intact, online Neverwinter Nights is a blast, with players happily bouncing off competent DMs for some fantastic online adventures. Kiss my axe!
