Nice thread, I like the moving dungeon idea, reminds my of Elric of Melniboné and the Vanishing tower, Michael Moorcock.
As the creature guy I'm not sure how much your gonna be able to muck about inside the beasties, well that’s not entirely true, you may be able to get in, but in most cases your going to have a hard time getting out.
Perhaps you need to define what you mean by ‘Dungeon’, if you mean 2 skeletons trapped in a room that spawns treasure well we may not have to much of that, but if you mean lost cities or ruins with un-named mysteries and secrets, well that you might see.
Just to give a hint I will say this. HP Lovecraft is just one of my influences.
