Next, PC.ign gives a good overview of the game with the help of Bill Roper from Blizzard, in an easy-to-read preview, kind of like icing on the cake after those two shots above. In their element, here's PC.ign on LoD:
"Players using the Assassin or the Druid will need to create a level 1 character and start in Act I," explains Roper. "We tried to come up with some method to include pre-generated characters with Diablo II: Lord of Destruction, but since so many of your skill and statistic decisions are tied into the types of items you find or create, we found it was impossible to provide a meaningful template character." It wouldn't be much of a role playing game if you couldn't mold your own character now would it? But don't worry, if you've already finished off Diablo in the mother game then you'll be able to jump right into the expansion with your built up character no questions asked.
