Fallen Age Interview

MMO.GameZNet has posted up an interview with Fallen Age producer Daniel "Savant" Manachi. You can read the interview by clicking here or get a good idea of what to expect first by looking below:

Q: When I look at the future I see a market flooded with massive multiplayer RPG's in particular. Because of the monthly rates associated with these games I expect fierce competition for game player's dollars. There's only so much to spread around here. What does Fallen Age have that other titles do not. What's going to set it apart from the competition?

A: Everyone seems to be building from the success of others, and while that's fine and dandy, it's not good enough for us. We love this genre and want to see it expand into something beautiful. As far as what makes FA unique:

Colonization. Having the opportunity to actually "win" and become the emperor of your server is just too cool. All the features that accompany colonization... Political, Stratetigic warfare. Building *your own* Bank, *your own* storage facility. A sense of ownership that has never been done before.

Items. 10,000 unique items that allows every character to have its own unique identity, and provide for an incredibly healthy economy.

Nations. The struggle between Guilds to provide for human conflict without including the "grief player."
