For those of you who haven't heard, Microsoft has released their much anticipated DirectX 8 today, adding a pile o' nice features. These features will be present in upcoming games such as Mechwarrior 4 and will be emphasized by video cards such as the ATI Radeon and the Voodoo series (with the newest drivers).
