The Elder Scrolls Online: Greymoor Preview Round-up

The upcoming Greymoor expansion for The Elder Scrolls Online will be taking us back to Skyrim where, this time around, we'll be dealing with a vampire infestation, on June 2, 2020. And while we can already play through a prologue quest chain that sets up this new adventure, a number of media outlets and content creators recently had an opportunity to play through a more robust early build of Greymoor.

As a result, you can now find links to their previews and impressions all neatly arranged on Bethesda’s official website. Here are a few samples and you take things from there:

The Elder Scrolls Online: Greymoor looks uncannily familiar but packs in lots of new stories

“It may look like the Skyrim you remember, but there already appear to be plenty of new adventures planned for Elder Scrolls Online's return to the north.”

The Elder Scrolls Online: Greymoor is more than a nostalgia trip to Skyrim

“Venturing into the open world beyond Solitude, I’m struck by how familiar it feels. I pop into Shadowgreen Cavern, for example, and suffer a fate I’m well used to: being lynched by angry Spriggan, bears, and brainwashed wolves, screeching past them to get a look at the magnificent forested cave before turning on my heels to get the hell out of there, like a hero. It looks and feels as I hope, even as I’m a few bite marks worse for wear. I also have a burst of nostalgia as I spot Dragon Bridge and Morthal on my travels. Ahh.”

Elder Scrolls Online: Greymoor is bringing vampires, supernatural storms, and archaeology to the fantasy MMO

“Grab your eyeliner and blackest hoodie, because Elder Scrolls Online is going super goth for its next chapter, Greymoor. We're talking vampire lords, monsters, and supernatural storms, plus the chance to go all Antiques Roadshow – but goth – with a new Antiquities system.”
