The Elder Scrolls: Blades Update 1.6 Live

A few days ago, we got a chance to check out a video preview of the 1.6 update for Bethesda’s mobile action-RPG The Elder Scrolls: Blades. That update is now live, offering a new loadout system, some miscellaneous improvements, and seasonal decorations. You can find the complete patch notes here and read a quick overview below:

LOCK AND LOADOUT

Loadouts are here! You can now save up to five customized sets of skills, spells and equipment to help tackle whatever challenges lie ahead on quests or in the Arena!

Need to swap out your current gear for a sturdier set of armor or fire-resistant helm? You can change your loadouts anytime during PvE quests and between rounds in PVP. Loadouts unlock for players automatically at Town Level 4 – set yours up today!

CELEBRATE HEART’S DAY WITH ALL-NEW COSMETICS

Every 16th of Sun’s Dawn, Tamriel shows their kinder sides for Heart’s Day, a time of love and togetherness. Join us as we show some love for you, the players, with special limited-time cosmetics in the Store – plus a few free gifts!

Log in between February 14 – 16 to receive the “Amulet of Mara” necklace for your collection and pick up the “Heart” emote for free in the store from February 12 – 17.

IMPROVEMENTS TO QUESTS AND MORE!

That’s not all! Update 1.6 features a list of improvements, optimizations, tweaks and more to bring you the best Blades experience possible. Some of these improvements include revamped Skull Ratings on Quests, the option to skip boss cutscenes, color-coded item notifications to match the item’s rarity, the ability to store Dungeon Chests to open later and much, much more!
