You can find the complete patch notes here. Here's what you can expect:

Hello everyone!

It’s time to face the Wrath of Sarisel! You can read the Changelog for this Content Patch here. Please restart your Steam client to download the update.

Wrath of Sarisel brings 5 new skills and their modifiers, area modifiers, Altars, and the Sarisel challenge. With this, new affixes have been added in the game, and you will now be able to trade items, gold, and primordial affinity! Animation cancel is also back, and the gameplay feeling is now much smoother thanks to it.

Some known bugs are being worked on and will be fixed as soon as possible, we already plan to make a hotfix tomorrow. Our priority will be to fix:
  • Some spells sometimes stop dealing damage (more frequently affecting Annihilation)
  • Sometimes channeled skills cast stays stuck until the resource bar is emptied
  • Crashes can occur during the campaign
The bug tracker has been reset and will be filled progressively with the latest reports.

Here are now a few explanations on how to access the new features from the Expeditions.

Area Modifiers

You can now improve your Expedition maps in the Soldier of Fortune game mode with area modifiers, just talk to Alexander Ivakin to open the Expedition window.

Select your difficulty first and then choose “Roll Area modifiers”. Purchasing an area modifier requires gold.

You can choose between 3 different modifiers and select the one you wish to add to your Expedition. The more you add, the better the chance you’ll have to get more items with higher quality.

You can add up to 5 modifiers on a map.

Activating Wrath of Sarisel

When you reach 4 modifiers, a new option becomes available on the Area modifiers window[...]

You can lure untainted using Primordial Affinity. This will increase the difficulty of your Expedition by adding Untainted Halfbreeds in the modified area, activating the Wrath of Sarisel challenge. This challenge implies that you will have no loot at all during the expedition, only awesome rewards at the end of it if you finish it.

It will also increase the Magic Find and Item Quantity from your dungeon substantially.

Stay focused, always watch your back, never leave your teammates alone, help them when they need it, and you might survive the Wrath!

Have fun, plenty of loots, and don’t hesitate to share your feedback!
