Calling them BioWare 2.0, the team at Avatar Media has profiled Alberta-based developer Beamdog in a 21-minute video that's part of their "Next Level" series and features a bevy of commentary from founder Trent Oster and several other company employees. The video focuses most of its time on the five titles the company has released to date and how the idea of the Enhanced Editions originally took hold, but it also covers the company's commitment to avoiding employee burnout with reasonable work hours, the unfortunate reality that the original art assets for the Infinity Engine games had been lost, and how they "found their fans".

Some of the art creation they show during fleeting moments in the video looks like it just might be from another title entirely, but I'll let you decide:
