The folks at Grinding Gear Games have unveiled the upcoming changes to their microtransaction system in Path of Exile. In short, the game's monetization principles remain the same, but managing your purchased microtransactions becomes more convenient. This video explains it all:

A developer post, that also showcases some concept art, informs us that the new microtransaction system should go live tomorrow, on June 6, 2017, just one day before the Beta for The Fall of Oriath expansion launches.
