It's an amazing time to be a hard-working, independent game developer, as PC Gamer's 303rd issue (due for release tomorrow) will have none other than TaleWorlds' Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord gracing its cover with "the most ambitious sandbox RPG since Skyrim". That's a bold claim, and to help solidify it, they've also treated us to a selection of high resolution screenshots.

I'm really looking forward to this one, and the images really highlight how far we've come since the original Mount & Blade in terms of graphical prowess. Here's to hoping the rest of the game follows suit!
