Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Hits Crowdfunding Goal

Less than 24 hours after going live, Obsidian Entertainment has already reached their crowdfunding goal of $1.1 million for the development of their recently announced sequel Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire. A tweet from Obsidian celebrated the fundraising goal.

Back in 2012, Obsidian's crowdfunding campaign for the original Pillars of Eternity raised over $4 million in contributions, including substantial contributions from GameBanshee members.
