The Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Edition Out Now

You might remember that Bethesda Softworks announced a Gold Edition of The Elder Scrolls Online which was supposed to include the base game plus the DLC for it. It's been a while since I last heard about it, but Bethesda kept true to their word and released it today, together with a Guilds & Glory DLC Mega-Pack that can be purchased on the game's Crown Store for 5,500 Crowns (the DLCs put together cost around 9,500) for existing players who only own the base version of the game.

The Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Edition costs $59.99/€49.99/£39.99 and can be purchased from retailers, directly from Bethesda, or on Steam. A few more details on the package from the press release we were sent:

The Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Edition will be available today for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC for $59.99 and includes the following content:

  • The Elder Scrolls Online core game content, including hundreds of hours of sweeping adventures across Tamriel
  • All four DLC Game Packs, featuring new quests, locations, and abilities, including:
    • Imperial City
    • Orsinium
    • Thieves Guild
    • Dark Brotherhood
  • A Palomino horse mount
  • 500 Crowns to spend in the in-game Crown Store for new game accounts
