Speaking with IGN during a video interview segment, EA Chief Competition Officer and one of the publisher's most influential voices, Peter Moore, has reiterated his stance against remasters and seemingly contradicted his colleague Patrick Soderlund, who told GameInformer the company would be looking into the opportunity. Speaking with IGN, Moore said "we want to go forward" and "we're totally focused [on Mass Effect: Andromeda] at BioWare."

EA is a huge organization, but this is certainly a pretty notable example of mixed messaging, if I've ever seen one:
