Good news comes via the seventh update to Flaming Fowl's Fable Fortune Kickstarter campaign, as they spill the news that those of you who have pledged £100 or more toward the game will receive access to an alpha build of the RPG-influenced CCG starting today. The fifth and sixth updates also share news about some Twitch streaming that's been happening, but it's the NDA-free alpha build that's most intriguing:
Over the last week we have been listening closely to all your comments and feedback. We are lucky enough to have a very supportive community already, with many Fable fans excited to see new and wonderful things from the world of Albion. We also have a group of dedicated CCG players that have looked at what we have to offer and can see that Fable Fortune is not just a Fable card game, it’s actually a deep and innovative CCG that brings many new things to the genre. But we need to grow if we are going to succeed. We need more CCG gamers to get involved by playing our game or watching streams and see for themselves what Fable Fortune is bringing to the table.
We are therefore very excited to announce that we are going to be rolling out access to our Alpha build tomorrow. Any Kickstarter backer that has pledged £100 or more (Hero tier or above) will be sent their very own Steam code to download the game and try it for themselves. All players will be completely free of any NDA. You can take screenshots, create videos or even stream on Twitch, whatever you like.
We believe we have created an amazing CCG that can reinvigorate the genre and we are willing to stand behind that, even at an Alpha stage of development.
