The Technomancer Gameplay Hours and Resolution Discussion

There's a brief two-part interview with SPIDERS CEO Jehanne Rousseau up on WCCF Tech this weekend, with the topics of conversation focusing on their upcoming RPG The Technomancer. In the first entry, we learn that the game will run at 900p and 30 FPS on the Xbox One:

As usual, we'll start with a glimpse into the technical details of The Technomancer. The developer was previously targeting 1080P@30FPS on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but it looks like they've had to lower the resolution on Microsoft's console during the optimization phase.

We are in the final phase of optimizing The Technomancer, and improvements are still underway. We have had to make several decisions which have allowed us to maintain the richness of the game's fluidity and environments. As such, we've decided to use a 900p resolution on Xbox One, which ensures a detailed and smooth experience.

And in the second entry, we learn that it will span 50+ hours' worth of gameplay across the main storyline and side quests:

It appears like The Technomancer will be a major improvement in this regard, with a larger game world and a lot more content than Spiders managed to fit in their previous titles. CEO Jehanne Rousseau said:

Mars is a lot bigger in The Technomancer compared to what you saw in Mars : War Logs. We've created vast, open areas that allow players to explore their secrets. The game's world is built around several hubs and cities that can be unlocked between which you can travel using a Martian rover. With regards to longevity, The Technomancer offers far more than any of our previous games. The main quest has 25 to 30 hours of play to offer, which is easily extended to around 50 hours with the inclusion of side quests. This is 4 times lengthier than Mars: War Logs, and The Technomancer contains around 4 times as many quests as Bound By Flame. This is without a doubt our deepest and richest game to date.
