A new content update for WildStar, NCSoft and Carbine Studios's free-to-play MMO, has now gone live. The update, which is titled Destination Arcterra, adds a new landmass, adventures, and bosses, which also come with new rewards in the form of items, pets and mounts, among other things.

After the news of the cancellation of the game's Chinese version and the layoffs at Carbine, it's good to see that WildStar is at least still getting some support, although, of course, it can only do so much to soften the blow when several employees have lost their jobs.
