Dark Souls III PC Port Will Include 60fps Support

Considering the original Dark Souls PC port didn't support custom rendering resolutions and was locked at 30 frames per second, there has been some worry among fans that Dark Souls III's PC port might follow suit, at least in the framerate department. It should also be noted that Dark Souls II's PC port was developed under a different lead and supported framerates up to 60fps, although it suffered from some game logic bugs as a result (the infamous "durability bug" that made weapons break faster at 60fps).

To dispel those fears, Bandai Namco tweeted today to confirm that the PC port of Dark Souls III will support 60fps. More details on the port we'll be given at a later date, but that's certainly an encouraging start:

Forget what you've heard. #DarkSouls3 will run at 60 FPS on PC!
