A press release fired over by Nomad Games earlier today announces the availability of Talisman: The Horus Heresy pre-orders on Steam, along with their plans to release the board game-inspired RPG hybrid on February 22nd. Here's what you'll get yourself into for $25:

LYMM, CHESHIRE, ENGLAND FEBRUARY 3RD 2016: Today Nomad Games is pleased to officially announce the launch date of Talisman: The Horus Heresy. Set to kick off on February 22nd via Steam, Nomad Games is very pleased to finally have a date set for the digital fusion of Talisman and of the Horus Heresy storyline.
(We've been thrilled with the game's reception so far, and cannot wait for fans of Warhammer 40,000 to get their hands on this edition of Talisman. It truly captures the tense war between the Loyalists and Traitors 10,000 years before the start of the 41st Millennium.) Nomad Games MD Don Whiteford.
Nomad Games first brought the multiplayer version of the Games Workshop board game Talisman to PC, tablets and mobile devices in 2014, with the brand selling over one million units to date.
Its follow-up Talisman: The Horus Heresy is set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe during the cataclysmic events of the Horus Heresy, and will be released on PC and Mac on February 22nd, 2016. The game will also be released on mobile formats in the Spring. More news on those formats is forthcoming.
