Victor Vran: Motörhead Through the Ages Expansion Announced

The developers behind Victor Vran, a recently released action-RPG in the vein of Diablo that was met with a generally favorable reception, have announced the first expansion for the title. So far, so standard. The weird thing? It's called Motörhead - Through the Ages, and it's based entirely on the career of Ian Fraser "Lemmy" Kilmister's rock band, which is currently celebrating its 40th anniversary.

The imagery contained in hard rock and heavy metal lyrics tends to fit videogames perfectly, but I'm still not quite sure if I'd have thought of Victor Vran as the natural candidate for a Motörhead-themed expansion. Still, it's happening, as Eurogamer reports:

Entitled Motörhead through the Ages, this licensed expansion will take Motörhead through various settings ranging from the Wild West to the dark ages to war torn landscapes.

"Motörhead define the themes of the game as Victor faces evils relevant to our own world - religious fanatics, corrupt politicians and power-hungry oppressive rulers," developer Haemimont Games explained. "During these quests he will be supported not only by the newly designed Motör-Weapons, -Powers and -Skills, but also a soundtrack with over a dozen tracks, partly never heard before!"

No details on the pricing and release date are available as of yet.
