The latest episode of Matt Barton's Matt Chat offers a lengthy gameplay-laden retrospective of Troika's last title, Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines, which gained a cult following of extremely dedicated fans (one of them in particular is still patching the game to this day) for its strong writing, atmosphere and dedication to player agency, despite its huge number of bugs, wobbly mechanics and rushed finale. I do think the video does a good job showcasing what's so good about the game to someone who never played it:
