Nyrthos: The First Chapter Development Update

Nyrthos developer "Mr. Deer" has put together a list of "stuff" that the indie developer intends to add, polish, and refine within the promising Diablo- and Gothic-inspired role-playing game. A bit of what to expect:
NEW AREAS
- the playable universe will become much bigger soon; at least for Nyrthos Gold members
- competitions and challenges will also come out as a brand new way of having fun and getting nice rewards; they're already in the internal testing

ITEMS
- we will be adding much more randomly generated items (there's just a few of them with a few graphical representations, their number will increase dramatically)
- crafting and combining items (there are many items in the game which will serve as crafting materials already; we're going to put them into good use. player's will also be able to find fragmented items in the world that will be combinable to create a full, usable item)

MONSTERS AND CHARACTERS
- the main character will have its animation completely changed; there will also be a greater number of NPCs so they don't all look alike
- "boss" monsters that will spawn randomly during the game; later on, we will be also adding "champion type" monsters that will drop valuable items
- we also have a number of other enemies than the skeleton (zombies, 4head, stone giants, flying monsters etc) that will populate the world
