The PC version of From Software's well-received action RPG Dark Souls isn't too far away now, so it might be a good idea to take in this new GamesCom trailer if you're looking for a better idea of what to expect. Oddly enough, the official trailers never seem to showcase the game's robust character creation and progression systems:
