XCOM: Enemy Unknown Video Interview

The latest episode of GT.TV features a video interview with Firaxis' Jake Solomon about their forthcoming strategy/RPG XCOM: Enemy Unknown, and since they've already done a write-up describing the topics of conversation, I'll just quote from that. Go:
On the latest episode of GT.TV, I had the chance to chat with Firaxis' Jake Solomon about the inclusion of the classic XCOM enemy The Floater in the upcoming XCOM: Enemy Unknown. More mobile, accurate, and reactionary than Sectoids, Floaters in the original XCOM certainly made an impression on fans of the game. Now, the re-imagined enemy will live out his life of pain and rage in the highly-anticipated reboot coming later this year.

As for what you can expect on the battlefield, Solomon told me that the Floater is really, really aggressive and that, as a flying enemy, he can teleport anywhere around the battlefield in search of any soldiers left to find. I also found out that the Floater will operate in packs, tying down you or a squad mate in one area and then teleport behind the lines to sneak up on other unsuspecting members of your team.
