Grim Dawn Kickstarter Preview, Launch This Week

Crate Entertainment has given us a sneak peek to the introduction, promotional video, and tiers that they've prepared for the Grim Dawn Kickstarter campaign, with the expectation that it will be approved and officially kick off in 1 to 3 days. The tiers and ultimate funding goal are about as expected (raising $280,000 seems reasonable given their Titan Quest pedigree), though some of the pledge amounts seem to be more attractive than others and the delivery dates are listed as both December 2013 and August 2013, so I'm not sure if that means that merchandise will be released prior to the game or not. I'll likely go for a $150 pledge, as the $100 jump that follows it seems a bit steep for a t-shirt and a second digital copy:
Pledge $150 or more

Boxed Deluxe Edition of the game with physical game disk and soundtrack. + Get our first expansion free via digital download + Grim Dawn poster suitable for framing + Everything from the Digital Collector's Edition, including a digital copy of the game with access to alpha and beta. (Please add $10 for shipping outside the US)

Pledge $250 or more

Enthusiast's Edition with exclusive Grim Dawn T-shirt only available for backers + Everything from the Boxed Deluxe Edition and Digital Collector's Editions + An extra game-key to share with a friend or loved one. (Please add $10 for shipping outside the US)
Oh, and if you're one of the people who already backed the game by purchasing a normal, epic, or legendary edition, word from Crate's Arthur Bruno is that we'll be getting "similar but arguably cooler" in-game medals for our early support, and can opt to be credited for our existing key if we decide to upgrade to a higher pledge on Kickstarter.
