The Prothean squadmate isn't the only surprise reveal in these artbook scans. An image showing the concept art for EDI, who becomes a Mass Effect 3 squadmate, was uploaded as well. In the case of EDI, the final art is the one that appears directly above her name. As for the Prothean, well, his final design should be pretty obvious. Unfortunately, the scanned artbook pages don't reveal the Prothean's name, as even there he is only referred to as The Prothean.
