Unconfirmed: Warhammer 40,000: Dark Millennium Online Cancelled, THQ Preparing Itself For Sale

According to an assortment of Tweets posted by a group of industry types (including Kevin Dent) and rounded up by the folks on NeoGAF, we have very good reason to believe that Vigil's Warhammer 40,000: Dark Millennium Online MMORPG has been cancelled, along with the rest of the video games THQ had planned for release in 2014. Rumor is that the company is looking for a buyer, most likely due to its continued stock price decline:
Apparently, The Game Workshops MMO has been cancelled by THQ

...

@PeterSkerritt they cancelled all of their 2014

...

Also heard that THQ are offering themselves to Asian firms to increase value!

...

In addition, word is spreading that THQ has returned IP to Disney AFTER paying the advance, with no refund.

...

I don't think people quite understand.

This is it.

They canceled all projects targeted for 2014. They only exist right now for the purposes of trying to sell the company.
