"We are still in the process of seeking funding to back up the project," GSC spokesperson Oleg Yavorsky told us. "We are hopeful things turn out well eventually. The team really wants to see STALKER continue."
It's difficult to say whether the Ukrainian developer will be successful and manage to continue working on the title, but it's certainly good to hear that at least not all hope is lost yet for the unique post-apocalyptic FPS/RPG's sequel.
