Grotesque Tactics II: Dungeons & Donuts Reviews

Silent Dreams' turn-based parody RPG sequel Grotesque Tactics II: Dungeons & Donuts hasn't received a lot of attention post-release, and was subjected to the review treatment by only a handful of publications. We have rounded up the latest two in hope of giving you a better idea of whether you may enjoy the title or not.

Grotesque Tactics 2 may have likable characters and some moments may be fun. However, the game doesn't dig deep in terms of combat and leaves a lot to be desired. Talent trees feel tacked on and battles become boring and monotonous throughout the experience. Being an indie game does not excuse Grotesque Tactics 2 from lacking in such pivotal areas necessary for a quality RPG, and in turn doesn't justify the price tag.

Gamers Daily News, 8.0/10.
In all, I found Grotesque Tactics 2 to be a hilariously excellent game and a wonderful diversion to all the serious RPGs out there. I would highly recommend it to anyone that wants a good RPG that has more than a little tongue in cheek dialogue.
