Dead State Design Update

Rather than go for something predictable, DoubleBear's Brian Mitsoda took advantage of today's design update on the Dead State forums to provide some much-needed (and humorous) guidelines to anyone out there hoping for an interview, preview build, or review copy.
3. We Have Time for Good Questions

If you want to interview us, I only ask that you look at some of our other interviews out there. We can only answer the same question so many times before we run out of things to say. We don't have an assistant producer to parrot the answers and bullet points to every site that comes calling interviews take time out of our schedules, and we're a small team. Generally, if I see some good questions or an interesting approach and it seems like you've done your research, we'll answer your questions.

4. Are you Texting This?

English has rules. Journalists, using words as a primary tool of their profession, should be somewhat familiar with these rules. If you're asking me to consider your very serious proposal to do press on our game, then try to capitalize the first-person singular, try to use the correct homophone for your intent, and avoid misspelling multiple everyday words. If your email looks like a random assortment of lowercase letters frolicking in a world without the tyranny of punctuation or IT IS WRITTEN LIKE THIS, we're not going to respond to your email.

...

Okay, so for all of you non-press people out there, progress continues on stuff that doesn't make for pretty pictures. I hope to rectify the lack of new images and we should have more game art and areas to show off soon. Also, we really appreciated the turnout at PAX and hopefully we'll be able to show off a lot more at the next one. Thanks for the patience and don't forget that we can answer your questions on the developer QA topic on the board (but please read the FAQ first).
