I was always under the assumption that we'd be creating our own characters in The Dark Eye: Demonicon, but based on the press release that Kalypso and Noumena Studios just sent out, it sounds like the forthcoming RPG will have a "main character" named Cairon. Two sweet-looking pieces of artwork can be found in our image gallery, while a quick one-paragraph summary follows below:

In his short 25 years, Cairon has bared witness to more horrors than most people endure in a lifetime. A life on the run through the Shadow Lands made him a fighter without compromise. As well as the deadly fighting skills learned from his father and surviving the tough streets, Cairon has mastered a fast fighting style using his arm-armour and sword.
