Dragon Age Legends Community Q&A

With EA2D's Dragon Age Legends still going strong, the team organized a community Q&A to get some pertinent info out to those people enjoying the turn-based Facebook RPG. If you're one of them, then these answers are for you:
Where's the dragon?

Producer Ethan Levy answers: I'm assuming you are talking about a High Dragon (or the (Big Mama) Dragon, as we tend to refer to her in the office). Currently, you can fight a High Dragon as the end boss in Evan Miller's incredible Dragon Age Legends: Remix 01. In Dragon Age Legends, we have smaller dragonlings and drakes in the Waking Sea quest line, where you fight Deymour, the Dragon Cultist.

As for putting a High Dragon in Legends, I think a big monster like that needs something new in order to do her justice. Right now, we can only create monsters that take up one combat slot, which is why larger creatures like ogres and sylvans overlap with each other in combat. Pulling off a sense of scale that will make the High Dragon feel really awesome to fight will take a new approach, and I can't say when we'll be able to start working on it.

...

When will we be able to unlock the second ring slot?

EL: This is my second time working on an RPG game, and one thing I've learned is that allowing a player to equip identical items (rings, left-hand/right-hand weapons, etc.) is actually trickier than you might expect, both from an interface design and an engineering perspective. So instead of a second ring slot, we are actually planning on incorporating that as a bracelet slot at some point in the future. This eliminates the problem of having to show a player three tooltips when they are hovering over rings to make a decision on what to equip.

That being said, I don't know when we'll introduce bracelets into the game. When we do, it would be nice if bracelets served some new purpose that couldn't be filled by other existing gear. Since we don't know what that new function will be, I can't say when we'll release them.
