Two Worlds II Reviews

It's time to dive into another batch of reviews for Two Worlds II, starting with a glowing score of 4.5/5 over at GamingBits:
I haven't enjoyed an action-RPG like Two Worlds II in years. These kind of games come around only every so often. Reality Pump and Topware Interactive really came through with an enjoyable action-RPG this time, taking what they learned in the original Two Worlds and turning it into an RPG gem. Sure, there are some places that could have used a bit more technical polish, but the overall presentation and vast amount of things to do, from character progression to places to explore, make Two Worlds II worth the buy. There is still much I am looking forward to explore and do after over 30 hours of play. If you enjoy fantasy action-RPGs, Two Worlds II is an excellent adventure worth setting off to.

Then we head to Brutal Gamer for a score of 7.0/10:
Two Worlds II is an okay game with some truly great elements. If you are a gamer who loves to mess around in an open world environment, you will likely adore this game, particularly the crafting elements. However, if you are a gamer who craves strong character development and a really good storyline, you will probably be quite disappointed in Two Worlds II, as those were obviously not aspects f the game that were high priorities for Reality Pump. I give Two Worlds II a 7 out of 10, and recommend it to RPG fans who are looking for something new and different.

Before making our way to RPGamer for a score of 3.5/5:
Two Worlds II is a puzzling experience. How the same group of people could make a game as dull and boring as the first Two Worlds and then turn around and craft a fun experience like this is mind-boggling. Two Worlds II doesn't succeed by being a heavily narrative focused adventure, it earns its merits by being a fun game where players can jump in and explore with a lot of freedom in combat. This game isn't trying to copy the depth of something like the Elder Scrolls series, but instead seeks to offer tongue-in-cheek quests and flexible combat. The whole game is much more streamlined than a typical open-world RPG, which is a blessing for those who get too overwhelmed with nitpicking over tons of little details. So while Two Worlds II might be lacking in polish, it is pure and simple fun without the headache of over complication.

We then make a quick stop at Gameplay Today for a score of 7.0/10:
Overall Two Worlds II is a major improvement over the original. The problem is that the original was so bad, that almost anything would have been an improvement. The game's graphics are nice, but still flawed. The generic RPG soundtrack will push away a lot of gamers after less than an hour of gameplay. The meat of this game is the customization with features like the deep crafting system. Let's be honest though, you only want to spend time crafting and brewing weapons if you enjoy using them. Sadly most people will not. If you just can't get enough Elder Scrolls knockoffs though, you might want to rent this one.

Pnosker doesn't do the scoring thing:
So, now we arrive at the big question, is Two Worlds II worth your time? The answer is, unequivocally, yes. Sure, it's a game with plenty of flaws, any of which could cause you to not buy the game. However, once you sit down and step into Antaloor, you'll discover that Reality Pump has crafted a game which rises above all of its technical and design problems to become an immersive and gripping on par with all but the best games on the market. So, unless you are a stickler for perfection or hate RPGs head on out to your local games emporium and pick up Two Worlds II, just be ready to merrily say goodbye to 40 hours of your time.

And then GameTrailers finishes off the round with a 7.0/10 in their video review.
