King's Bounty: The Legend For Free?

I'm not sure if this is intentional or simply an oversight, but several users over on the Steam forums have noticed that King's Bounty: The Legend is available for installation across all user accounts - regardless of whether or not you've purchased it. If you visit the game's sale page, you can choose to install the game, which prompts a 5.5GB installation and the game is suddenly added to your list of owned games.

It's possible that Valve could be kicking off one of their limited free play sessions with Katauri's debut title and just hasn't announced it yet, but it's hard to say for sure. Either way, if you don't own the game yet, you might want to install it and check it out just in case the offer disappears soon.
