Walkthrough
1 - Ancient Wooden Chest
Inside the chest you’ll find a
Duskwood Longbow, an
Amulet of Unyielding Will, and some arrows.
2 - Ancient Wooden Chest
Inside the chest you’ll find a
Shroud of the Leopard plus some gems.
3 - Ancient Wooden Chest
Inside the chest you’ll find a
Telthor Leg Bone and
Hide Armor +4.
4 - Conversation
When you reach this point in the barrow, Safiya will suddenly stop and begin talking to herself. Nothing much will happen during the subsequent conversation, but this is a place where you can gain or lose influence with Safiya.
5 - Okku
Okku is a bear god and the lord of this barrow. No matter what you say to him, he’ll attack you. Okku is shielded against low-level spells, and he’ll summon some spirits to assist him, but the battle shouldn’t be very tough. Just have Safiya haste you before the battle, and then have her drop a Meteor Swarm or two once the spirits show up. You won’t get much in reward for the fight, but Okku will drop a
Pristine Power Essence when you disperse his spirit.
6 - Ancient Wooden Chest
Inside the chest you’ll find the
Axe of the Bear-King.
Exits:
- Exit to the
Middle Barrow.
- Exit from the barrow. This is a world exit, but it’s also a one-way exit. Once you’ve left the barrow, you won’t ever be able to come back.
