Background

During the assignment Overlord, you learned that you'll need to override the lockdown at Prometheus Station in order to open up the way into Atlas Station. You'll be able to access Prometheus Station via your Hammerhead. The game will indicate the distance to the closest station, and even show you arrows so you won't get lost. Starting from Hermes Station, you'll find Prometheus Station to the right and Vulcan Station to the left. When you enter the Prometheus Station portion of the map, you'll trigger the assignment.

Note: While exploring the planet looking for stations, you might come across six Cerberus data packets. Five of these packets should be easy to find -- they'll be at man-made outposts usually guarded by turrets -- but one of them will be guarded by heavy mechs under the rocky bridge leading to Vulcan Station. If you can collect all six data packets, then you'll gain the "Data Hound" achievement.

Walkthrough

When you arrive in the assignment area, Dr. Archer will contact you and let you know that Prometheus Station is located inside a downed geth ship, and that the rogue VI has activated the ship's defenses. That means the first thing you'll need to do in the assignment is lower the ship's shields. To do this, you'll need to destroy the four shield generators next to the ship, all while dodging the ship's cannon. If the cannon hits you, then you'll die, so you'll need to pay attention to where it's aiming (pink targeting lines on the ground will show this), and stay out of its way.

Note: If you park the Hammerhead next to a generator, then the ship's cannon will hit the generator and help you out. If you try to do all the damage on your own, then the battle will probably take a while.

Inside the ship, everything will start out quiet -- too quiet. You'll see some dead bodies on the ground, but nothing will attack you, and even the rogue VI won't talk to you much. Eventually you'll come to the Control Room, where you'll find the override switch. However, to get to it, you'll have to solve a simple slider puzzle. If you climb up onto the platform on the southern side of the room, then you'll find a display screen with five buttons on it. One button will let you switch between the three floor tiles; the other four buttons will move the tiles. You'll just need to move the floor tiles so you can reach the western side of the room (the top of the display screen).

Note: You can also move the floor tiles to reach an "island" containing a power cell, a med kit, and a laptop worth 600 credits.

When you hit the override switch, the geth ship will stop being quiet. All of the geth will wake up and attack you, and you'll have to retrace your steps (with a few changes, due to the rogue VI's actions and the instability of the ship) and return to the Ship Entrance so you can escape. Along the way you'll encounter geth troopers, geth hunters, geth destroyers, and even a geth prime at the end, but none of these battles should be particularly tough. When you exit the ship and board the Hammerhead, the assignment will come to an end.
