The iconic cover for the original Ravenloft adventure module for Advanced Dungeons & Dragons (1st Edition) featured artwork of Count Strahd von Zarovich standing ominously on one of Castle Ravenloft's gargoyle-adorned balconies. That impressive scene has been given a modern redesign treatment in this new wallpaper for Standing Stone Games' Dungeons & Dragons Online: Mists of Ravenloft.

I would have preferred if the gate behind Strahd was open as it was in the original piece (it just makes sense) and if a little more detail would have been given to the castle wall in the background, but given the fact that this is based on in-game renders for a nearly 12-year-old game, I can hardly complain.
