A new beta patch for the Special Edition of Skyrim is available on Steam. The patch apparently improves the game's performance and fixes a number of crash bugs, which should hopefully help those people that have had problem since the latest officially released patch:

FIXES

• General stability and performance improvements
• Fixed issue related to using alt-tab while playing the game (PC)
• Fixed issue with water flow not rendering properly
• Fixed crash related to changing from werewolf back to human form
• Fixed crash related to reloading after changing Load Order of mods
• General bug fixing and improvements with browsing Mods

Update: The patch is now official, so the "beta" tags no longer apply.
