The Defense stance is available to Hedge Knights, Landed Knights, and Sellswords. The abilities for this stance are listed below.


Clenched Teeth: You have developed a high tolerance for pain.

   • Health recovery +5% for each critical hit received (max 25%)


Daze Strike: Stun your opponent by slamming your shield into his face.

Fighting Spirit: Your fighting spirit inspires your nearby comrades.

Flawless Armor: You are more resistant to attacks while recovering.

Effects:
   • Damage resistance +40% when using the "Recovery" ability


Massive Strike: Smash your opponents all around you (within a range of 3 meters).

   • Chance to inflict "Bleeding" (6s) on each opponent: 25%

Shield Strike: Upend your opponent with a violent blow from your shield.

   • Knocked down (3s) (if your opponent has no shield)


Stalwart Defender: You defend better when the odds are stacked against you.

Stance Points: 1

Effects (when 3 or more enemies are attacking you):
   • Dodge +6%
   • Critical hit chance +7%


Tactician: You show your true potential when surrounded, and all members of your team, yourself included, inflict more damage.

   • Damage +10% when 3 or more opponents attack you


Targeted Strike: Strike your opponent in an open wound.
