I've seen multiple references to Error 132, try checking the WOW support forum for threads regarding this, or contact WoW support.
I've not experienced myself, so I can't help you personally.

There is a whole blue thread about it here. Check it out and it will probably solve your issues.

And run a virus check regularly.

This is a bit out of date but still, might be useful for somebody.

thx, but i've already been there.. in the end, if i put it in a bitter tone:

[vent]
"dear customer, we can't do anything, sorry for the inconvenience but there simply isn't just one solution. well you can always buy some new parts even if your recent comp exceeds the recommended preqs. sorry, bad luck mate"

this is just pissing me off.. there's stuff like, this soundcard(ac97[which i have] is known to have problems in WoW etc.) pretty goddamn great. i always feel so positive and up when i pay 75€ for a game i can't play for more than second at a time. just dandy

yes i know that because it's MMORPG and it involves PC's they can't clear everything but goddamn..

what systems do you guys have since you've been blessed by not being touched by this error #132?

i'm considering a new motherboard/more RAM but that's due anyway, noway i'd do it just to get one game to run.. my friend who knows stuff about comps suspects my motherboard might be damaged and i think my system atleast has now gone hell in a hand basket, just because i've installed updates to my drivers..(update to my sound driver had one outcome, no audio period if i wasn't so pissed off, i'd laugh, or not

[/vent]

First thing would be to test your RAM, or if you have the possibility, try to test the game with somebody elses RAM.
The error you give, is often seen in connection with faulty sectors on memory. (memory could not be read).

Of course, you have also simply tried reinstall, but try a different location on your harddrive as well - although I doubt that should do much.

I've just read a rumour that error 132 and 134 will be addressed in the next patch (the patch used on the test servers right now). Haven't seen any posts by blizzard about this, just thought I would let you know

Yeah but how the hell are you supposed to download the patch if you haven't even got the game running? Nice solution...

True enough, if there's one thing that sucks about Blizzard is customer support... :-\

Anyway, I would ask my firend to bring his comp to my house and change each part, one by one... The graphic card, the soundcard, the memory, everything... This may reveal what part causes the problem. Start with the memory.

Don't throw away everyting if your comp work fine otherwise...

My system has nothing special, an ASUS a7v8x motherboard, a Radeon 9200 128MB graphic card, 512 MB memory (Samsung) and an integrated souncard, that's all... Memory needs to be doubled so that I can set the graphics settings to a better quality but otherwise it works fine.

He can download the patch manually, but he shouldn't have to as the crash comes when he enters the world, not when he boots up WoW. So he has already applied all the current patches.

yes, everything runs smoothly and fast until the moment i enter the world.. yesterday, after changing my RAM to another place(only got one) it worked for almost 2minutes.. now that i deleted WTF/WBD folders i was able to play 10secs.. yay the joy of WoW

before it freezes i get some serious lag and then BOOM error 132...

i dloaded a RAM tester and everything was fine... my friend suspects that my harddrive might be shot to hell and i'm going to check for errors, re-install, then format, then buy new harddrive, new motherboard, 1024mb RAM and if that doesn't do it. screw the game and blizzard

That is a long way to go for a game, if it is the only game you have problems with
However, try borrowing another harddrive if you have the chance, before you buy.
Pretty much the same goes for the other components. If you have the chance, borrow and shift around, eleminating the issues.

Trying another graphics card could also be a way to go, because it could be the drivers or even the memory of the graphics card which causes the issue (in connection to your mentioning of lag before the crash)

Also - is there a difference if you run with few (almost none) settings turned on and lower resolution/refresh rate in-game, compared to more settings turned on?

well i wouldn't do all that just for one game.. i guess my PC is due for some upgrade.. yes i discussed with my friend for him sending me one of his harddrives so i could test with it...

i'm currently installing WoW on a different driver(update dloading at process) and if that doesn't work, well my comp is kinda like a dumbster so i might as well format the whole thing and then check it out again... noway i'd do all this for just one game, even though i've paid for it and have 3months playtime paid

hmm.. not my finest hours atm...

i got my new hard drive, and new RAM...

installed and what happens? the same thing.. i have no idea why that happens.. there can't be any errors on my hard drive since it's spanking new.. and i got enough RAM i know that.. is it just possible that my system is just wrong for the game and unless i change everything i can't get the game to work?

Normally - I wouldn't recommend this for online games, but if you have a firewall and antivirus, then try and disableing them to see if that can affect it.
Also - depending on what antivirus you have, then try disabeling possible script blocking or autoprotect features.

actually i don't have any antivirus since the hard-drive is new and there's nothing except WoW, firefox, messenger and zonealarm(free version..) but i don't think it can be the firewall since i once was able to play a total 2mins before the error occurred.. i'm going to write an e-mail to blizzard with dxdiag along.. i mean the error doesn't occur now and then, it's constant 100%certain thing to happen...

EDIT:email sent.. let's see how long it takes to reply.. btw, i tried turning my firewalls off(even windows' own) no, didn't help.. i'm sure there's some easy way to solve this all since for some reason it doesn't allow me to play the game.. everytime smth should happen it tilts..
