On a side note, anyone have any good UIs for Pally.
Also does nobody on GB play WoW? It was never that popular here, but it seems dead now.
13 Views and nothing?

| | | I don't know how to compare you to other pallys since I don't have that kind of information on them. No pallys to play with in my arsenal.
Two UIs I heard of for you are:
AnnoyingBuffReminder
PallyPower

| | You might want to consider a few things especially by going hybrid with holy-ret builds always have plates that gives you stats that increase strength, stamina, and agility while not just your mana pool gear that does +heal/damage, critical strike and critical strike with spells is quite effect for damaging opponents.
You have a good build, though most hybrids use only one build really, but this one is only spec'd for Lv. 60 not Lv. 70, since you don't get many players wanting to spec in them anymore. Hybrid - 35/0/16

| | Looks like you are going for the 40/0/21 Shockadin. It performs well enough in PvP I suppose. Certainly, with the amount of health you have, you better not draw any aggro in an instance or you'll be squashed in short order.
Considering your choices in Ret, it's obvious you are concentrating on spell damage...the lack of Seal of Command and weapon crit bonus makes that pretty clear. Bear in mind again that this build is really only suited for PvP, as Pursuit of Justice is (as an example of some of your Ret talent choices) only useful on a Battle Ground or in the Arena. PvP is a totally different animal than PvE.
Myself, I've been impressed with how my Paladin has been doing both at main healing 5 mans, and performing on the daily quests. The spell damage makes a difference. So while I might not be enamored of a shockadin, I certainly appreciate the value of Paladin spell damage builds.

| | | Currently I main heal instances with only a few gear swaps. The only boss I've had trouble with so far is the 2nd one in Slave Pens because of his debuff and group ranged attack. I'm having trouble finding gear that's suited to spell dmg pally, since most generic pally gear has Str which I don't need. Healing gear isn't what I'm aiming for but I'm not gonna turn it down. Ideally I'd be focusing on Spell dmg, Int, Stam, and Spell Crit in that order but it's tough with the limited options I have.

| | | I've since switched my Pally's spec to tanking again, as I'm pushing for his last few gear upgrades before hitting Karazahn. It's far easier to find a healer than it is a tank, unfortunately, so I have solved that issue by tanking the 5 mans. I'm completely sold on pushing spell damage...since spell damage is, after all, how a Pally tank actually attains and builds threat. The results have been sweet. So sweet, in fact, that my relatively undergeared Pally tank can hold mobs that are being blasted by DPSers in epic gear. I can't tell you how many times I toss Avenger's Shield, run around a corner to pull any caster mobs to me...then lay down consecrate, and have the caster DPSers in the group let loose with AOEs on them all. Quite effective, and no need for additional CC. They stay on my Pally, and our healer only needs to worry about healing *me.*
I play 2 other tanks...a warrior and a feral druid, and the Paladin is by far the best tank for the 5 mans.

| | | Well I've made a few changes and ended up back at Ret. I like it. I just hit 70 and I need a lot better gear to be where I want to be DPS-wise. But I make up for that with group support and various "OH ****" buttons. As far as gearing goes, I think Blizz has made it abundantly clear which PvP armor sets correspond to which spec, but somehow our GuildMaster and often main tank has selected Vindication pieces. These are clearly Ret pieces in that they sacrifice Resilience for Crit. He's also sporting a few healer pieces, which isn't so bad, but still not optimized. I still have to confront him about it, that and I'm not sure he fully understands how a Paladin tank works.
